What is VNC-SC?
VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is a client/server package set. The machine that runs "Client VNC" can view the desktop of another machine that runs "Server VNC". More details can be found on UltraVNC site
SC stands for Single Click, which is a version of "Server VNC" that allows IDT support members to interactively view your Desktop in order to assist you over the internet.
Please note that IDT cannot connect to your computer without your permission - you must connect to IDT !
How to use VNC-SC ?
- Run IDTHelpDesk.exe:
and select "Run" and select "Run" again if prompted. - Enter the Password:
The software is password protected. Please contact IDT on +44 (0)20 8600 3540 and ask to connect to a Help Desk adviser to obtain the password. - Double click the name of the person you want to connect to:

If the connection is successful, this message will appear in the notification area:
- Terminate the connection at the end of the session:
Right click on WinVNC icon at the bottom right corner, then close. The VNC software will automatically be uninstalled from your computer.
