Imaging Sciences International (manufacturers of the i-CAT) have issued new values for the scattered radiation produced by the i-CAT. They have re-measured the scattered radiation and have issued new values which in some cases are 1.2 to 3.0 times higher than those stated in the original i-CAT Operator's Manual. Please note that these changes relate to the scattered radiation produced by the i-CAT and the shielding requirements of the room - the dose received by the patient during an i-CAT examination remains unchanged.
